I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but I’ve been working on a quake 3 mod that helps reduce the effects of lag for high pingers. It’s basically just a better version of cl_timenudge. It detects your ping and then projects the other player positions into the future, so you can fire directly at the other players rather than having to lead shots by your ping. It’s still in development but it works quite well. The mod is open source and can be found here:
