Ioquake3 Linux vs ioquake3 Windows (Proton)

I’ve tried ioquake3 with the native linux client and the windows client running in proton… got different results with the same settings. Any ideas why?

// I’ve copied the ioquake3 files over the steam installation and replaced the original quake3.exe with the ioquake3.exe. Because i like native start vom steam and the steam overlay :slight_smile:

I don’t know what results you’re talking about, you can use the steam overlay with any game: Add Non-Steam Games to a Library - How To's - Knowledge Base - Steam Support
