So I’ve been working on a mod that allows ironsights on weapons. When the weapon is scoped up, I want to fade in a semi transparent model while fading out the 100% opaque model.

I have the transparent model rendered correctly in the game, similarly to how one’s nose disappears between their eyes from their perspective, but I have no way to actually fade it in. Animmap sounds like a potential idea, but I’m limited to only 8 images, and I can’t set it so that the game would transition smoothly at any point. Is there a way to do this properly?
