I’m exploring the feasibility of an open-source reimplementation for American McGee’s Alice (2000). I’ve located a Mac Universal Binary (PowerPC and x86) that I imported in Ghidra. It retains extensive symbol information for the complete game. Since the underlying engine is id Tech 3, I’m evaluating whether the game-specific layer could be reimplemented on top of ioquake3. Does anyone in this community have experience with id Tech 3 game logic reverse engineering?
